2. Measure with String, Paper, or Measuring Tape
Use string, thread, paper, or measuring tape to measure the circumference of the finger where the ring will be worn.
Mark the point where the ends meet on the finger.
Lay the string, thread, paper, or tape flat and measure it with a ruler.
Convert the measurement to millimeters (1 cm = 10 mm).
Compare the result with the ring size chart.
